My friend Rafael Gonzalez Quiñones and I teamed up to make this guy move and talk.
While I was sculpting the facials, Raf was animating the head to achieve what you can see in the video. He took a line from the movie 300 and reinterpreted it in a way to personalize and emphasize the performance. It was great to provide additional shapes for a total of almost 500 individual ones (considering splitted shapes per side) and overall adjustments to make him animate the head in the best way possible.
In the video you can see the final animation by Raf and some breakdown I have assembled to show the model with clay material, topology and the facial rig with active shapes per frame.

I can't hide the satisfaction of seeing my shapes working, surely the best way to see almost a year of work ending up in such a glorious way.
